Dr. James W. Shore, M.D.
Dr. Shore is a graduate of the University of Tennessee in Memphis. He served his internship at Baroness Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga. Dr. Shore served as a physician of the US Army for three years.
Dr. Shore joined Martin Medical Center, P.C. in 1967. He has staff privileges at West Tennessee Healthcare Volunteer Hospital. He is an active member of the Tennessee Medical Association and the Northwest Tennessee Academy of Medicine.
Dr. Shore provides a variety of primary care services to include joint injections, workman's comp care, acute and chronic care management, etc. He sees patients from 9:00 a.m. till 5:00 p.m. on Monday and Wednesday and from 9:00 a.m. till noon on Tuesday and Thursday.
Dr. Susan S. Lowry, M.D.
Dr. Susan Lowry is a graduate of UTM and East Tennessee State University in Johnson City. She served a three-year residency at UT Family Practice in Jackson.
Dr. Lowry joined the medical staff of Martin Medical Center in 1997. She has staff privileges at West Tennessee Healthcare Volunteer Hospital as well as many local nursing homes. She is a member of the American Medical Association and the Tennessee Medical Association. She is an American Academy of Family Physicians Fellow and a Certified Hospice Medical Director. She is also a Certified DOT Medical Examiner.
Dr. Lowry provides a variety of services to include wellness exams, DOT exams, acute & chronic care management, inpatient hospital care, etc. Dr. Lowry sees patients from 8:30 a.m. till 5:00 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday.
Our Med Staff
Keely Vaughan, PA-C
Keely joined the medical staff of Martin Medical Center in August 2015. She is a lifelong resident of Weakley County and is excited to bring quality care to the community she calls home.
Keely received her Bachelor of Science degree from UTM and her Master of Science in Physical Assistant Studies from Bethel University. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Tennessee Academy of Physician Assistants. She is a Nationally Certified DOT Medical Examiner.
Keely sees patients ages 3 and up, Monday thru Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. She provides a variety of services including but not limited to Child, Adolescent and Adult Wellness Exams, DOT Physicals, Acute and Chronic care management, and Skilled Nursing Home care.
Angela B. Cursey, FNP
Angie obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Union University and her Master of Science in Nursing (Family Nurse Practitioner) from Muray State University.
With over 20 years of experience in primary care Angie provides a variety of services including but not limited to Child, Adolescent and Adult Wellness Exams, Acute and Chronic Care management, and Skilled Nursing Home care.
Angie is accepting new and previously established patients ages 3 and older. She is in the office Monday through Wednesday 8 am to 4:30 pm and accepts most insurance.
Ashley Donaldson, FNP
Ashley joined Martin Medical Center in October 2024. During her healthcare career Ashley has served Martin and Weakley County in a multitude of healthcare roles as an LPN, RN and now a Family Nurse Practitioner.
Ashley obtained her Practical Nursing degree from Tennessee Technology Center, her Registered Nursing degree from West Kentucky Community and Technology Center and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and her Master of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain University.
Ashley brings a wealth of knowledge to our already knowledgeable staff with her years of experience in long term care, medical-surgical care, home health, emergency medicine, and labor, delivery, postpartum and newborn care.
Ashley is accepting new patients ages 3 and older and is credentialed with most all insurance carriers. She sees patients 3 days a week in our office and one day caring for patients in the skilled nursing home setting.
